Blank 5inch Display at Login Prompt

Hi there,

So I am currently busy playing around with moOde... So here goes:

Step 1: install moOde
Step 2: run first time with 5" display. picture grainy and coloring like a Van Gogh
Step 3: following this guide I added the suggested changes to config.txt

Step 4: boot again. Profit!
Step 5: start asking questions on the forum
Step 6: got bored waiting, and installed RuneAudio.
Step 7: boot again
Step 8: not happy with layout at all
Step 9: reinsert moOde SD
Step 10: screen goes blank after

Step 11: reinstall moOde, add suggested settings to config.txt
Step 12: problem persists...

Power down everything. Unplug power supplies to everything.

Go and scratch your itch with some other hobby for at least 2 hours... Big Grin 

Ream out (reformat) your sd card.
Start afresh using the same steps that got you to the working MoOde Config.

Then ask your questions and stave off any boredom whilst awaiting replies..... single malts may be of help here Wink

So... about that:

Flashed a new SD card.
Removed the previously working settings recommended by the LCD manual, added hdmi_safe=1
Boot
still not working, or rather, screen goes blank after Target reached Login Prompts.
