Idea: Pirate Audio 240x240 cover display
#51
works great! The only thing is it possible to add some shadow to titletext? Depending on background it is partually hard to read.

Id love to have the Cover artwork displayed on this, but my coding skills arnt up to it
any chance of this being a future feature?

Hi.

I have added a text shadow option to the script and the config.yml file.

It worked for me, but YMMV.

Hi!! Can ST7789 show japanese characters?

Iam 99% noob in linux.. so i try this:

http://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=790

and

sudo nano /etc/locale.gen
sudo /usr/sbin/locale-gen with  ja_JP.EUC-JP and ja_JP.UTF-8

..but display show "strange symbols"..

(moodeaudio via http looks correct)

Hi.

I assume it can with the correct fonts.

The script does not use the system fonts. It uses fonts included with the script.

I suppose with the right fonts included and some edits it may work, if you can read Japanese, that is

More detail please

moode version?

Does the other radio station play and only the display is stuck?

If you have your own moode library what happens if you play from that?

What happens if you reboot?

Ciao Rusconi (Italian?),
moode 7.2.0, all works fine except the display stuck on bbc radio 1. I don't know if can help but I was on bbc1 when I set the SPI.
Also playing from my NAS the bbc logo was on the display.
Reboot had no effect.
