Upgrade from Pi 3 to Pi 4 -- just move the Micro SD?

The USB3 on the Pi4 should be as fast if not faster than sd-card ?

And a lot more reliable than SD cards. I just like the idea of attaching an SSD containing both Moode and my music files to a Pi 4 and ditching the SD card.
