Sorry for my absence, been moving house and locking myself down etc.
I came across the Merus HAT combined DAC and Amp during lockdown and thought it was an excellent solution for my retrofit vintage radio.
Got everything working fine including the GPIO Volume control on a rotary encoder. The GPIO pins are getting busy but it is all good and the sound quality is pretty superior given all the old stuff.
It was working with 6.52 and then the next update came along and it stopped working immediately. I got the ALSA hw error. Anyway this post is just a marker for now as I have upgraded through all the latest versions of Moode and the error is the same. Reverted back to 6.52 and all is fine again.
As far as I am concerned I do not want to mess around too much with something that now works but keen to contribute to the fix too.
Could someone let me know what logs/diagnostics you need to take a look at this? I have invested in a second Merus board (I thought the board could be faulty) so can run diagnosis on a test rig now if required.
Moode continues to please greatly/
