Solved: Unable to connect Airport Extreme Disk
#1
Hello!

I am completely new to RPI world and moode. I have read many threads, but I am lost.

I am using an Allo digione:
RPI 4
Raspbian 10.2
moOde 6.4.2
Ethernet

And I am trying to create a library (scan doesn't work) to an Airport Extreme with an usb disk connected to it.

I can access to moode and Airport disk from my iMac

This is the location of the folder that I want to use as my library:
afp://AirPort Extreme ._afpovertcp._tcp.local/LaCiePorsche/Music
Airport Extreme IP: 10.0.1.1

I am using this Path:
smb
192.168.0.1/LaCiePorsche
(and User ID +Password)

And the log:

Please help, I am wishing to play my music!  Big Grin

Thanks in advance.

afp://AirPort Extreme ._afpovertcp._tcp.local/LaCiePorsche/Music

AFP is Apple File Protocol. Is your Router running Samba (SMB)?
Which folder have you shared out?
- LaCiePorsche
- LaCiePorsche/Music

That will determine what you would enter in moOde Music Source screen for path.
- 192.168.0.1/LaCiePorsche
- 192.168.0.1/LaCiePorsche/Music
Enjoy the Music!
