That compile step can take anything from ten minutes to several hours depending on your device.  If you are patient it will complete.

OK, good to know. The first time i waited 1h, second 1/2h, last 10min. Maybe i try again. :-)

How much customisation have you done?  Might just be quicker to flash a new one and go through the config screens. I can configure from scratch in about 4 minutes these days
