Problem: EQ and DSD128 error
#11
Quote: PCM rate is attempted which is what DSD128 is converted to when the DAC doesn't support native DSD or DoP.

Uh huh, so not equalizing a DSD stream. And what happens when the DAC does support DSD?

If MPD set to send DoP then any DSP in the pipeline will process the DoP samples thinking they are PCM but the output will either be noise possibly destructive to speakers or no sound at all because the data bits in DoP samples are DSD bitstream and not PCM.

If MPD set to Native DSD and the audio device actually supports native DSD then any DSP in the pipeline will result in MPD/ALSA being smart and doing on-the-fly conversion to PCM, otherwise if no DSP then native DSD is sent to device.

Thats how I se it working on my Rev DAC which supports both DoP and native DSD.
Enjoy the Music!
