Looks that there's some problem with DSD128 files, mpd and DSP processing;
yesterday I found that there was no way to play DSD128 and EQ because an MPD error,
so I tried to use camilla DSP successfully,
using a hipass first order filter.
today I started moode, and mpd is giving to me
same MPD error again:
ERRO Playback error: ALSA function 'snd_pcm_hw_params_set_rate' failed with error 'EINVAL: Invalid argument', module: camilladsp
INFO Playback thread has already stopped., module: camillalib::processing
exception: Failed to play on "ALSA Default" (alsa): snd_pcm_poll_descriptors_revents() failed: No such device
exception: Failed to open audio output
I did no modifications.
Raspberry pi 3b+ + hath ifiberry dac+pro
/* UPDATE */
After some time spent troubleshooting, I found out
that after playing an hires PCM 24/192 file,
DSD128 files play correctly °_°
as if playing an 192Khz file "forces" mpd / alsa
to recognize higher bitrates ...
really strange behaviour
I also asked the support of mpd, they told me that
it is a bug of the alsa plugin, they advised me not to use it :-S
