Hifiberry Digi+ I/o eq

Hello I have been looking for a way to see if I could use the hifiberry Digi+ I/o to get audio from the optical on my TV have Camilla DSP eq it and then output it to my DAC is that possible?

Also interested on this possibility.
From the hifiberry website I could read that it is possible to have both inputs and outputs working simultaneously. That's a good start:

That particular thread has been open for 4-1/2 years and AFAICT no easy solution has appeared yet.

HiFiBerry has its own HiFiBerryOS. Does it support this use case? If so, then maybe some enterprising developer who actually has one of these boards could propose a patch to moOde to do the same. If not, then ask HiFiBerry why.

Right, for those boards that have DSP, input switching, etc Hifiberry's own OS would need to be used.

Hm, thats a shame... I also have a sound blaster x-fi HD that has toslink in and out. Do you think something similar could be done with that card?
