We do grow lemons here so technically yes. However the Kiwi thing is to leave lemons at the gate for others when there is a glut...
Currently there is an unprecedented shortage and prices in the markets have skyrocketed.

Whilst your mention of Kiwifruit reminded me of the soon to be released red variety...

So we now have the traditional green, the yellow (Gold) and the red (Ruby).... perhaps time to rename them as 'traffic light' fruit.
