Noise at the end of a song
#1
I use Moode since version 6.0. Since that time I  experience noise at the end of a song most of the time. I always suspected it was sample rate change issue between the songs. But it is not all the time.

Today I run into this topic https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread....dd3a88db8e
This sounds like the same problem. Most of my music is in the WAV format and I added tags with foobar2000. Playing an mp3 file from my Nas does not give this problem.

I experience this issue both using mpd as via upnp (minimserver). Can this be the cause for the noise. Is it  a Moode issue or can it perhaps be fixed on the minimserver side ?

I'm not too experienced with WAV format but the Forum post suggests that the hiss has something to do with the way the metadata is written to the WAV file in combination with a player that cannot read "WAV chunks".

Try converting an album to FLAC and see of the hiss still exists.
Enjoy the Music!
