Problem: Newbie SD card imaging query
#1
When I install MOOde on an SD card it shows up on my Mac disk utility as having capcity 264MB, even though the card has a much larger capacity. How do I transfer music files to the unused space on the SD card that has 'disappeared'.
I assume this is a failure on my part to understand part of the setup guide. Is it that the space invisible to my Mac is formatted as linux. If so, how do I access it?

Any help gratefully received and apologies for asking what I imagine is an irksome query with an obvious answer  Confused .

It depends on the Mac, IMO. If it is an old (I mean, ooold) it could probably not see it. Weird because modern Mac are BSD-based (that is, a UNIX system)
Anyway, if you really cannot see it, you can always enable SMB sharing on the Pi and then transfer the files over the network.
In any case, the partition moOde lives on is Ext4; maybe it needs to be enabled on the Mac...? (not familiar)

Thanks
It is an oldish mac (mid 2015, running OS 11.7.10) The issue might be the disk utility I'm using (2021). I can 'see' a second 'child' alongside 'boot' but it has a capacity of 4GB, the card is 128GB. I'll try some other disk software.

I went the SMB route and it was SOOOOOOO simple. Thank you!
