The Forum Team has added some important new features to moodeaudio.org and the Forum to help with funding, cookie consent and hopefully to provide useful information and services :-)
The first feature is a Cookie Consent notification banner appearing at the bottom of the screen that provides information about how the site uses cookies. This is necessary in order to comply with the EU ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that covers users in the European Economic Area (EAA).
The second feature is the use of Google AdSense to serve banner ads on moodeaudio.org and the Forum. Note that only non-personalized ads are served to users in the EAA. These Banner ads help fund the Moode Project including the continued development and support of moOde audio player and the ongoing maintenance and operation of moodeaudio.org, the Forum and the Moode Github repositories.
Below is a typical example of a banner Ad.
