Here is a Pi4 with 4GB of ram....running MoOde 6.3.0 .....webradio....14 hours...(with 2 version updates happening in the background)
97.6% idle.... 150.1MB memory used... 3618.5 available Memory
so, 4GB might be overkill...
2 might be plenty, and 1 would work fine.
All depends on what other uses you might put the Pi4 to... if just a dedicated MoOde player then 4GB will idle along unused...
If using the Pi sometimes as a Kodi player then 4GB would be useful.
The big benefits seem to be the separated usb and networking busses..... and that's mostly independent of ram.
The drawbacks are all thermal.... it runs hot and probably needs some active cooling....
