[SOLVED] Backup and restore configuration across versions

Thread is closed but to answer the question;

Yes - 7.6.x backup using the scheme I suggested stays a 7.6.x clone of the original. I don't think it's a problem as if I did an upgrade I'd then replace the backup with one from the newer version. Would still have a current "clone" of the card should I mess something up. Saves me the time of reconfiguring all the settings. Thanks,
