GUI flaws

Hi,

First of all, thanks for this very good player.
Now, I meet some faults in UI, listed here. They can be seen as bugs or requests.
My setup : Rpi 4 + official 7'' touchscreen (square pixels param enabled, see picture), Moodeaudio v8.1



1-

• Playlist at left side: durations are not well aligned, and songs name are sometimes shortened a lot (only 2 or 3 characters!)
  
• Bottom icons in the middle part are very close to screen limit, making them hard to use (and are quite small)
  

2-

• I don't see any change when using big font sizes (For me, large buttons and text on touchscreens is very important, making them lot easier to use)
  
• plus, in this screenshot, we can see part of a rectangle drawn on top-right side
  

3-

• In first screenshot, we have 9 different configuration settings access. In second screenshot, we find only 4 tabs at the top to access to configuration screens.

4-

• suggestion: "m" menu, does it need to be different in config or player screen? If yes, are "audio info" and "refresh" useful when in setup screens? And, could we fuse "Configure" with "Preferences" to shorten the list of choices (first picture)?

I'm not able to repro the Ui layout anomalies. My 7" Touch looks perfect.

The font size changer was never fully developed and so may not work across all UI elements. This is a good project for a JS dev that want's to take it on :-)

One of the challenges with a post like this that conatins a lot of different things is that it's hard to address any particular issue. Your best bet is to post details about a particular issue that would allow it to be reproduced and thus have some chance of being investigated and possibly fixed.

Updated from moode 8.1.0 to 8.1.1, as well as Rpi 4's firmware (Tue 26 Apr 2022 10:24:28 AM UTC (1650968668) bootloader), and still exactly the same behaviour.

I am sorry because I don't have JS knowledge to help

I ll have a look at the glitches, eventually, shall I be able to reproduce them on my tablet (I believe it's a mess with the EXTRA LARGE font format... some margins and paddings here and there... usually 1px mekes a huge difference). That's almost no JS involved, only some tackling with CSS.|
For the 9 icons and only 4 tabs... that's gonna be more tough, but will eventually address that as well; just don't hurry...
