Question
Are there any guides on using the OSMC remote with moode? Not sure if I should be using the flirc guide.

The one I have is here.

Most probably yes...
moOde does not have any handling layer for IR remotes; what can be done, though, is fire console commands for every button, so that play/pause/next/prev/vol up-down can be controlled.

I am afraid it would not be possible to control the UI with any remote, as things are at the moment... it would require a lot of effort, moOde doesn't even work with a keyboard only...
I will be more than happy to be proven wrong, though (about the UI thing)...

I'm away from home and using my phone so this will be a short answer. Try looking through the FAQ  and Guides section of this forum. I and others have posted threads about using remotes with moOde.

Kent

I remember having stumbled upon a very similar piece of information in the past.
I think it will be what I'd try, should I decide to integrate the unused buttons of my Eversolo Z8 remote.
