Hmm, with an other SD-card I've got the same problem.

@TheOldPresbyope The voltage can't be the problem. The values are default. This PI ist powered via the HifiBerry Amp+ with a 18V 85W powersupply.

Hi,
That is very odd. I'd build a fresh image and then boot up on the Pi w/o any audio card attached. If there are issues on just the bare Pi then it would suggest something external to moOde software. If all good, then add the audio card, configure it and see what happens.

until version 4.1 everthing worked fine. It also works fine now, except for the display of the playback page. Does it have advanced logging and which logfiles can I check?

Hi Michael,
You could try examining various logs but the symptom "playback page does not work" suggests a broken build or something external to moOde software.
cat /var/log/mpd/log
cat /var/log/syslog
dmesg
cat /var/log/nginx/access.log
cat /var/log/php_errors.log
MPD verbose logging can be turned on by editing /etc/mpd.conf and changing log_level from "default" to "verbose".
moOde debug logging can also be turned on in System config screen.
cat /var/log/moode.log

Hi Tim,
I have also experienced the same problem as the other folks - sometimes I do not see the playback UI or if I do, the track doesn't play at all even though I press on the PLAY button. I am using 4.2 on a Pi3 B+.

I rebuilt 4.2 on a brand new Sandisk card and the UI issue happened again.
The MPD logs are clean:

Those screen shots are showing either the old moOde 3 UI or one of the old moOde 4 betas.

Thanks Tim. I cannot clear the cache and history as I have some cookies which I need to keep for the office.
But i used Firefox and the UI is back however, when I attempt to access the SOURCE option in the Configuration settings, the UI freezes for 10 seconds and then reverts to the playback screen. I can't seem to get into those options, same for the Audio or Network buttons. Any idea why?
