RE: moode on allo digione player - deepboy - 12-08-2024
Ok, done. The few changes I made to the system all at once did not let me identify the player behavior correctly. Long story short, I updated the digione player from raspberry 3b+ to 4B 4gb version. This solved last problem, the extra memory load brought by the Pi/moode images > 8.0.something and the increase (merging of two libraries) of the music database. The micro usb connector problem was solved by soldering the dc wire on the pi board bypassing the connector and the board is now usable again, for not tooo demanding applications. Now everything is running smoothly, thanks again to Tim for moode, super.
The 4b pi version has an usb-c supply connector, not a great idea. If i move the wire i can get power discontinuity..... but nobody noted this before?
Thanks for your attention and help.

Clear to me now.

@deepboy
You said

NO. I have repeatedly plugged and unplugged USB-C power to my Pi 4Bs and Pi 5Bs (not to mention lots of other gear---my phone, etc) and wiggled wires intentionally or un-intentially and experienced no bad behavior.
Until you solve this problem, you will likely continue to have mysterious problems with your system.
There should not be recurring instances of the "Undervolt detected!" message in the log nor any problem at all with winbindd.

Kent
RE: moode on allo digione player - deepboy - 12-08-2024
baaahhh
the 4b is brand new.... not unplugging but forcing the connector by moving the wire.
Winbindd messages look to me a no-problem, but i'll investigate.
I'll study a little more next logs. Power supply and cables seem to be ok.
Thank you
