I'm relatively sure Radio Paradise is out of San Diego, and not New York. RE: Official moOde 7.0.1 support thread - suzywong - 02-02-2021 Mikey, I do believe you are correct about RP being in San Diego. Love the place. We had a few days there as part of a family holiday about 10 years ago. Stayed out on Coronado, Mum & Dad bummed around the centre and did the zoo & museums up on the hill. Daughters went to Comic Con! I got the list from the Naim Forum. I have corrected my original post. RE: Official moOde 7.0.1 support thread - lamode - 02-02-2021 I have mentioned my connectivity issues with 7.0.1 several times but I didn't get a useful response so far. Could someone please help explain why 6.x was rock solid for me but updating to 7.x has caused many disconnections every day: moode.local not reachable sometimes, or UPnP service dropping (between uses but not while playing a track), or SSH not accessible. Sometimes the mode.local website is not accessible but I can still SSH to pi@moode.local. If Moode drops out then it seems to come back every time without a restart being necessary but it can take from a few minutes to half an hour. It's driving me crazy. If I can't find the issue then I will revert to 6.x. RE: Official moOde 7.0.1 support thread - lamode - 02-02-2021 A new problem just popped up today. I have been trying out Moode as a player for the past week, and not just a UPnP service. Today I started to play an album but when I return to moode.local I get this screen: The music is still playing but I can't see or control anything. It "feels" as though this issue and your other connection failures and somehow related to the lease that the moOde device has with the router, but I've not tested very fully. Do you use the router defaults for IP assignment and lease expiry and so on? I use BubbleUPnP via android phone/tablet to stream Qobuz, using Moode as the renderer. Never had this issue with the previous version of Moode. Is there a setting that I missed when setting up version 7? Me too. Some detail:
System - Qobuz to USBridge Sig to RME ADI-2 DAC FS controlled by Bubble UPnP on Android tablet. moOde 7.0.1 No changes in moOde 7.0.1 from default, other than MPD's UPnP is enabled (and DLNA, Spotify etc. is disabled) If anyone is interested in this bug/disappointment, I am happy to post logs. moodeutl -l? cat /var/log/mpd/log? Yes, just using DHCP/wifi with a vanilla Moode installation (no hacks/additions) RE: Official moOde 7.0.1 support thread - lamode - 02-02-2021 (02-02-2021, 01:35 PM)Tim Curtis Wrote: Reboot and post the Moode startup log so people can see basic info about your config.
