In case someone is interested: I managed to get a USB Bluetooth adapter (with external antenna) that uses the Realtek chipset rtl8761bu running on a raspberry pi with moOde 8.1.2 (kernel 1.15) - see https://github.com/moode-player/moode/issues/541
