Hello from NC
#1
Before the pandemic, my Son and I loaded a pi with Moode... fired it up and forgot about it.  It has been a non-stop workhorse and a centerpiece of my home audio system.  We don't do a lot of streaming, primarily use it to listen to the audio from various iOS devices.

I recently began dabbling with Linux Mint Cinnamon 20 and 21.  Although I see moode popping up in the my computer/network window... for the life of me, I can't figure out how to connect the audio output from my linux box to moode.  Wondering if someone would be kind enough to point me in the direction of a thread of do the might help?

Thanks so much.  :-)

Welcome.

If it's the audio output from your Linux computer you want (as opposed to audio files stored there), the quickest way would be over bluetooth. Turn on the bluetooth renderer in moOde, then connect to it from Linux.

Hi t_b,
Thanks so much for you help.

I had assumed BT was switched on, but when I went into the audio settings, I noticed that iOS Airplay was "on"...
And BT rendering was not. :=(

I'm so happy this turned out to be an easy fix.

Thanks for pointing me in the proper direction. :-)
