Nice speakers :-)

What audio device are you using?

I’d be inclined to feed them via USB but I’m curious. Does their Bluetooth pairing/connection process include the obnoxious, often loud, and unmutable “bleep” that I get with every other BT speaker or headphones I’ve used?

Kent

Currently, my phone. I am trying to find time to start on the Pi build.

I walk into my office in the morning, open my phone, and connect the speakers via Bluetooth. Other than taking a few seconds for the Vanatoos to boot up, there's no audible response.

Unlike the Edifer setup I tossed in the trash, I'd have to re-pair the connection every few days. Good set of speakers for a garage, but their Bluetooth tech is annnoying.
