For "Play Here" to work on my local network connected Browser device, I find that I must have the player playing on the main Player and then start the "Play Here" running from the ... menu. This starts the current Track running from the start so it plays delayed from the main Player.
If I just start the "Play Here" running, it doesn't start the MPD running. Is this the expected behaviour?
I hope I have explained myself correctly. - Robin

I think I understand.
1. In the MPD section of Audio Config you need to turn on HTTP streaming
2. Start something playing
3. Connect to that moode player via a Browser on some other client
4. Menu > Play here
That client should start playing the stream being sent by the moode player on its own local speakers. If that moode player is also outputting to a speaker system within ear shot the music will not sound in sync. In that case mute that moode player before using "Play here".
One nice usage scenario for "Play here" is when you want to listen on your Smartphone to what moode is playing.

Hi Tim,
Yes, I have the procedure correct and moOde is working as designed. My Use Case was a it different to yours and rather than wanting to listen to what was playing on the main Player, I was using the Browser access to search my library and play a sample of the track. This is why I expected the "Play Here" button to automatically start the MPD player running.
All Good! Back to enjoying the Music. - Robin

Hi again Tim, just a further thought ...
Would it be possible, if the MPD was not already running, to start it automatically when the Play Here button was pressed?
