Bug report: Distortions ONLY when on playback screen

I'm thinking the same thing as Tim.

So, leaving everything the same but disconnecting the monitor's HDMI cable from the RPi do you still get the distortion in Playback view using the WebUI on phone/laptop/whatever?

Please can you try this test:

Get the set up to this state "I switch to Playback-View and restart the playlist: Distortions."
While it is playing in that state, unplug the power from your display. Does the distortion go away?

There is 64 assigned. I changed it to 128 and to 256

Wrong way...you increased the ram reserved for the GPU which is unused.  32 or 16 reduces the GPU ram and frees it up for other processes.

Not that I think this will cure the problem but I am curios to see if it changes the distortion any.
