Is USB Dac with PCM 2902 chipset compatible?
#1
I want to use multiple DACs for a multiway active cross over using CamillaDSP.

I have Moode happily working with IS2 using a hat.

I have changed to a cheap USB DAC with this chipset as an experiment. It seems to be recognised but there is no output.

Before I dig deeper, is the DAC chipset compatible?

I don't believe the specific DAC chip should matter here. The board presents itself to moOde/RaspiOS as a USB audio output device and should behave like one.

In any case, I have a cheap StarTech USB-to-mic/earphones adapter I bought for another project ages ago which presents identical Audio Parameters in moOde 8 and which is happily playing with either hardware or software volume control.

Kent
