IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ Failed to open "ALSA Default"
#1
Hi all, I have used Moode for a long time on rpi zero w + phat dac, everything worked fine. I switched to rpi 2b + IQaudIO Pi-DAC+, and whatever I do I get "Failed to open "ALSA Default" (alsa); Failed to open ALSA device "_audioout": No such file or directory".

The same happens with rpi4 and zero w.
Did this happen to anyone? Is it a faulty dac? How to troubleshoot?
Thanks!

Open an SSH terminal and run the command below to see if Linux recognizes the DAC.

Code:
aplay -l

Very strange. There are no links in the extra content otherwise I'd consider it SPAM. I removed it from post #1 but the very next post has it back in. Not good.

@kurjak make sure your posts don't include that spam-like content.

Maybe it's the signature... a bit invasive, if so.

It could be but I don't think we will see it again.

Our kitchen system runs a Pi 3B+ and IQAudio Dac+ with MoOde 8.3.6.

I have not seen the issue as reported.
