NFS mount permissions issue
#1
I found that if I mounted my NAS music directory (via moode interface) then MPD was unable to read it and got permission denied issues.
I think this may be because the mpd client is mpd:audio but the directory was mounted as pi:www-data yet when I mount the same directory via samba it works fine.
Let me know what info you need to debug this and I'll try and provide more details.

Do you have the "no_root_squash" option turned on in your NAS for NFS?

Have you defined NFS permissions for moode client in NAS share properties?
