I must say I do not clearly understand what the problem is: I see you touching more than one time... the UI is not as responsive as one might want, but a single touch (then wait for it to be processed) could give a better scenario.

I ran some tests a while back using Pi-3 and 3B+ HDMI with some locally attached touchscreens and I got those same video problems. I think it has something to do with the Bookworm KMS videocore driver and the particular HDMI core on the 3/3B+.

No probs with Pi-4 or 5.
