Solved: Clean install > homepage works >no reply on anything

Goodafternoon gents,
I've been running a raspberry pi-4 with dietpi, gmediarender and bubbleupnp server and an external USB Dac for quite a while now using Linn Kazoo as controlpoint and a Qobuz streaming subscription.
I saw moode a couple of years ago but never tried it yet....Untill todaySmile
I've flashed the micro sdcard using raspberry PI imager and all appears to be fine but then the configuring needs to be done. The inital page loads quick enough and I can also click on configure using the top-right menu. Anything I click in the configuration page ens up with effectively nothing strangely enough and with nothing I mean it doesn't even give an error. Just endless loading of the page
I've re-imaged 3 times with the same result. I then started to dis-trust the card or the card adapter, the image process etc....I used the saem card and the same adapter installing dietpi again including all its features and eveything works in 1 go.
What am I missing here?
thx in advance
regards
Willem

@wkloppen

The most common cause of this kind of behavior is failure to define the default user/password BEFORE booting moOde for the first time. The easy way to do this is to use the OS Customization options in the Raspberry Imager as fully described in the Setup Guide..

That must be it. I did edit a few things in there but not the username and password. Apparently you'll HAVE to do that. It's not an optionSmile

thx a lot...will give it go and confirm whether or not I'm getting moode going....Smile
