I have built the Boot SD card for moode (9.1.4) and have followed the instructions (including those in the Imager configuration tutorial).
When I launch Pi (3b+) with new moode system, I cannot see it on my ip scan. Running Moode 8.+.+ works just fine on same hardware (both the OS and it shows up on my IP scan). I have the Pi connected to local network via ethernet cable (and have been running moode this way successfully for 5+ years).
Any thoughts?

Hi Ryan,
The issue could be connected to a lot of reasons.
-Did you wait for a long time?(the first boot takes several restart of the system) please try to wait the activity LED does not blink.
-Is it your IP scan able to display the vendor of the scanned systems? some time the host name is not display.
Let us try these two thing ...
Best regards,
Francesco

Francesco,
Thanks for the quick reply. I have waited (overnight) and still no joy. My IP scan does show the vendor and the usual "Raspberry Pi Foundation" does NOT show up after repeated scans. Again, the hardware is RPi 3b and the 64-bit Moode OS 9.1.4.
I have just verified that my Moode OS 8.xx works just fine on the same network (not on simultaneously with the new OS).
Thanks again for any insight.
Ryan

Edit Reason: ugh, a typo
)
The symptom suggests your installed image is bad. I've never booted up a fresh copy of moOde and not had the player's ethernet adapter show up on the network.

Thanks Kent,
UPDATE: fresh/different SD card did the trick.
That's what I was thinking as well... I tried an install directly from the source on Pi Imager the first time... that didn't work. So then I downloaded the image from Moodeaudio.org. Same result. I'm flummoxed. I'm going to find a new microSD card and see if that is it. In neither case were errors reported by Pi Imager as it built the OS on the SD card.
