I’m glad you found the input cache parameter because i forgot to mention it. That was dumb of me since it is the feature most likely to overcome erratic network communication. If it is enabled, MPD tries to pre-load as many queued items as possible, flushing the oldest first when the cache is full.

So, do FLAC files on your NAS now play uninterrupted?

I can’t suggest values for any of these allocation parameters. The default settings work for me. You’ll have to find values that work for you.

It plays ok only after quite some time time after startup.
Like hour+
