I am running the latest 9.2.0 version on an rpi zero 2 with an added hifiberry dac + amp.

when I tested the system about  a half year ago (moode version unknown) the system worked fine, an about 16 Gb mp3-stick was recognized and so did an  usb Volume knob.
I actualized the System with the updater to moode to 9.2.0.  And nothing works like before!

firstly the old stick showed the known content on the stick, but didn't play any File and showed  " File not available" , and after using "update library" no more mp3's were present.

Tested with 2 sticks (formatted one to exfat - which worked before, one to FAT 32)
no automatic recognition as promised in the settings, erratic reaction of the volume Knob.

Both sticks are working well including the used adapter cable  on win10 PC and Android 13.
How could I repair this? Huh

Reboot and then post the contents of the startup log.

The log can be viewed via the SSH command moodeutl -l or downloaded via the Logs section in System Config, or via Menu, System info from any of the Config screens. The startup log will be at the end of System info output.

only the red marked lines for alsa output and alsa mixer are unaltered.

I tried to change them, but found no "switches" to change in the audio + alsa options.
Could you please tell me how or where  to do this?

The ALSA output and mixer settings in the log output are derived from the actual configuration provided by Linux plus the settings made in Audio Config.

Its not obvious to me how a configured I2S device with a mixer named "Digital" can show up as a USB output and mixed named "Analogue".

You could try clearing the output device cache and then rebooting to see if that helps but your best bet is prolly to just start with a fresh image.
