Solved: Check for update failed
#1
Hello,

I am running v. 9.3.2 2025-04-16 and more often than not I get the "check for update failed" message upon checking, is it just me?

I had this with both Linux and also Windows.

My solution was to reboot the router. It does sound rather strange, but it's because the ISP supplied router has poor quality firmware and eventually something goes wrong with the firewall requiring a reboot to sort it out again.

Once done the update checking process worked fine.

Maybe see if the update works on another connection, like a mobile hotspot as a test?

As it happens, moode was updated to v. 9.3.3 which was installed successfully on my machine, I might have tried to check when new version was uploaded to server, everything ok now, thanks!
