[SOLVED] Library Update doesnt work bc corrupted file

hey there,

on the usb stick which contains media and is attached to the pi is a big container file - about 130 GB. 
*edit* this was the exspected reason, that library update doesn t work.

is there a way to skip the file or a folder while scan? would help very much. filename can be changed to everything.

solution is in #4
investigate log of update. here I found a corrupted file.

To exclude a file from the update, create a file called

 in its parent directory. Each line of that file may contain a list of shell wildcards. Matching files in the current directory and all subdirectories are excluded.

But to be clear, the cause cited in the title of this thread "...bc. big file" is not, in fact, the cause of the issue, right? Best to fix the title as well as marking the thread as solved.
