Queue play time?
#1
I've looked around to see if it's available as a feature and I haven't seen it - so I'll request here.

I'm looking for a way to have a list runtime on the main player screen. Once items are added to the queue of music to be played (clear/play, then add, then add again or loading saved playlists) I would be pleased to see a running total playtime of whatever is loaded as part of the information available onscreen. Perhaps as a persistent footer somewhere.

Is this possible?

I think it was on the TODO list at some point but no one ever came up with a good place on the UI to display the "Queue time". We can[t just be sticking numbers here and there.

I suppose it could be displayed at the bottom of the Queue item ... context menu but each Queue item has to be read to get its track time to be added to the total and if there are a lot of Queue items it could delay opening the menu which would not be good. Maybe there could be a "Queue time" menu item that would just calculate and display it on-demand.

Possibly - but it was a thought.

Yep, it's got to be smarter than thought...

As well, the runtime is indefinite if the queue includes one or more radio stations.
