Problem: Spotify renderer does'nt work with USB output
#1
bonjour moodeWorld

I use moodeAudio with a DAC  "SMSL sanskrit 10th mkII" coupled with a "DigiOne signature".
MoodeAudio spotify renderer works very well with the optical output of the digione
but
MoodeAudio does not work with the USB output of the RPI (ver 4) to the USB of the DAC. (files music like FLAC, DSF etc work fine with this config )
moode stop the music (from my nas) and displays the "spotify connected" screen (all normal)  and that's it... :-)  no sound from spotify and my phone "is Disconnected from rendered/music is stop too"

is is a know problem ?

merci pour votre aide

Do you have a Spotify Premium account? The Spotify Connect renderer only supports Premium accounts.

Also:
- In the Spotify Connect setting you may bneed to change the "Format" to S32 in case you DAC only accepts 32 bit word length.
- Volume is controlled by the Spotify client app.
Enjoy the Music!

I have the same SMSL dac and I find that I usually have to re-select the dac in the audio settings when Moode boots up. Otherwise the system defaults to headphone output.
Also, in both my systems I have to restart the Spotify renderer after booting in order to get it playing. (My other system has an iFi USB dac).
