Hi all,

I live in Eutin in the very northern part of Germany. I'm an IT engineer and freelance writer.

Just to let you know, what I'm doing on my 2 Raspberry 3 B+:

I run Moode on one to listen to Spotify because this is a way to be able to use an equalizer with audio. I connected 2 pairs of Dynaudio XEO 5 via USB with the Raspi.

Additionally I use Pi-Hole and Home Assistant on a second Raspi to keep the ads away while surfing. Works great!

But I wish I could one Raspi for all this stuff. 

Currently there are these devices in our home network:

- AVM Fritz!Box 7530 connected to the internet via Stadtwerke Eutin with 200/200 Mb
- 2020 iMac 27" (Intel)
- 2021 MacBook Pro 13" M1
- iPad Pro 13"
- iPad Pro 10"
- iPhone 8 Plus
- iPhone 8
- 10 Shelby 1PM 3G Mini actors for our IR-heating 
- 8 Govee thermometers for the Home Assistant thermostats etc. 
- Some more stuff for the Smart Home

BTW, after waiting some weeks for my account in this forum, I found answers to my questions by experimenting, but it took a while ;-) .

I have the Pi-Hole as well and agree, it is great!
Also use a Pi-VPN and can get to my home network from anywhere in the world.
