Solved: Allo Asix driver related SQ
#11
I ran some tests for a few hours this afternoon on my SIG with latest 64-bit moOde 8.3.6 connected to Allo Revolution DAC and no audio glitches whatsoever with any audio format in my test collection.

The formats included FLAC 16/44.1, 24/96, 24/192. DSD64, DSD128, DSD256 both native and DoP. I also tested running SoX resampling at 32/704.6 kHz and no issues.

It's not obvious to me what might be happening on your end that would cause audio glitches.

Have you checked 836 32b? 64b has only problems with 24/192. 32 bit stutters all the time. In my case usbridge may have harder work - used interface (Clarett+ 2) is 4 channel and works in S32_LE.
So in audio info I can see that 5Mb 192/24 change magically to about 30Mb - 2xmore channels, 32bit...

The 32-bit image is only meant for the non-64-bit capable Pi's i.e., 1B/B+, 1A+ and Zero. No need to test this on a SIG which runs the 64-bit 3B+ processor.

As I mentioned earlier I don't get any audio glitches whatsoever on my SIG + Revolution DAC with formats ranging from 16/44.1K up to 32/705.6K and DSD64/128/256 native or DoP.
