Just to introduce myself

A techie from the 70's. I built Dynaco equipment as my first audio system that lasted for quite a few years.
Life long sailing enthusiast starting in New Zealand where I grew up.
I work in rural broadband consulting, radio propagation modeling, Geospatial information systems.
I became interested in RPI4 music playback, with Volumio and became exposed to camilladsp 2 years ago.
I am now using MoOde and Camilladsp

My typical toolchain is REW-rePhase-Camilladsp

My setup is RPI4/RME ADI-2 DAC, Denafrips pre-amp, Sublime active crossover, Denafrips power amp/Buchardt S400 speakers

My current interest is tuning my sound using various Camilldsp pipelines, currently time-aligning subwoofer using high pass delay on main speakers.

I am submitting a separate post on my experience and suggestions.

Be well!

Greeting and welcome to the forum.

I feel a comaraderie here. Early Dynakits were part of my audio system back in the 1960s, driving KLH 6s.

Sailing was never my thing (grew up far inland), but in 1995 my late wife and I happened to be standing in the Auckland City Tourist Centre in the midst of a mob in front of TV screens watching Team New Zealand race One Australia in Round 4 of the America's Cup challenger series. One Australia split in two. I still remember hearing a Kiwi near me shouting "they broke their boat! They broke their boat!". I couldn't tell if he was happy or just astonished. The last thing we saw was the Sun Microsystems logo on the bow as it sank into the sea.

You are pushing CamillaDSP way beyond my novice attempts to compensate headphones. I'll let the cognoscenti deal with your issue Smile

Regards,
Kent

Hey Kent,

I'm trying to do a couple of complicated things - it may turn out that I get to the point of diminishing returns.  Ah well its a hobby!
I can help you if you have any issues.

Cheers,
Tony

6 months in a leaky boat comes to mind Wink

Nice!   I have an older RME card I use for LP ripping duty and it performs amazingly well.

I'll look forward to that, I've just purchased a Denon POA-S10 to power a Monitor Audio Silver 12.
It's plate amp died-not great electronics- and I've sealed the cabinet and powering externally now.
Your CamillaDSP tips will be most welcome.

Cheers from NZ.
