Hosyond 7" icnh screen flicker
#1
I recently added a 7" HDMI display (Hosyond) to a fresh install of 9.2.3 on a RPI 3B.  No changes have been made to the config.txt file.   The system itself works fine, though a tad slow.   The issue I am experiencing is when in the "what is playing" display and I select the m in the upper right hand corner for another function.   After selecting that function the screen does not correclty display the selected menu, the what is playing screen flickers up and down the screen covering the display of the selected item.  This behviour applies to all fuctions under the m.   It seems that the controller for the attached  HDMI display does not correctly change from the one display to the one selected.

For older Pi's try "Disable GPU" in the Peripheral Config screen. The help is below.
"Disable the GPU for Chromium if the WebUI knob sliders on Pi-2 or Pi-3 are missing or there are any other display artifacts."

Tim,
Works much better now, thank you! I also see this is in the wrong forum. Forgive me for cluttering up this particular forum. I've been a long time user and appreciate all your work.
