Latest WIP release notes

A new "Play here" feature has been added. Clicking it opens a new tab/window and plays the MPD HTTP server stream. It's a convenient way to listen on your Smartphone + Headphones to whats playing on your Pi

   

And we get the latest CamillaDSP 3.0.0 compliments of @bitlab :-)

Hi Tim,

Just noticed the BBC debacle **, which you are covering in 9.2.4. Do you have a feel for when 9.2.4 will be released - i.e. “a day or two” or will you roll it up into a bigger update in a couple of weeks time? If the former then I’ll do other chores as directed by my “dearly beloved”……if the latter, then I’ll just update the two that I use most (R3 & R4) and await the rest in due course.

**this continual BBC ”fcuking around” is, apparently, what we in the UK “pay our licence fee (tax) for”!

Release 9.2.4 won't be ready until we at least get through testing and debugging the new CamillaDSP 3.0.0 feature which I just installed this morning.

And if we are lucky the Pi devs will release a new Linux kernel, MPD 0.24 will ship and there will be new versions of other important packages for example any of the renderers :-)

In the meantime I would just manually update the links and sip some tea to distract the mind from BBC messing around.

Latest WIP release notes

- CamillaDSP 3.0.0 looking solid :-)

- Many improvements to the >> Players feature :-) Its a very useful feature for sending commands to all discovered moode players. New commands can be added by requesting them in the Forum along with a good use case.
