Shut down Moode Player remotely
#1
Hello folks,
I have a MoodePlayer running in my office. When I finish work and leave the room, I press a switch on the output and all the sockets switch off.
This is not good for the MoodeAudio on a Raspberry.
I am now looking for a way to properly shut down the player with a script triggered by my home automation. I had already thought about the UPnP client for MPD. The control works very well here. But there seems to be no way to shut down. Does anyone have any ideas?

You could try using curl to submit the URL below

Code:
http://HOSTNAME_OR_IPADDR/command/system.php?cmd=poweroff
Enjoy the Music!

Hello Tim, thank you very much, yes, that's how it works.
I now have a script (ioBroker) that first shuts down the Raspberry and then switches off the power to both the amplifier and the Raspberry. That saves a lot of power
