Local Audiobook/Podcast bookmarks
#1
Having played around with the main three audio streamers on the RPi, Moode seems perfect for home. What I am now trying to do is build a streamer for my campervan.  It must support
  1. Bluetooth (Moode - YES)
  2. Wireless Access Point (Moode - YES)
  3. Audiobook and Podcast restart from last position (????)
And preferably run on a Pi Zero with Hifiberry Zero hat (currently checking performance with Moode)

Unlike the home hifi set-up which is primarily music both local and internet streamed, the van will be stand-alone only and will heavily feature locally-downloaded audiobooks and long music podcasts as well as music - so the ability to restart audiobooks and podcasts from where left off is a required feature (yes - I can write down the position every time and manually fast forward but that will be a pain)

I've not seen an easy solution for Moode for this but it may aleardy exist and I may simply have missed the documentation.

Bookmarks are not implemented in moOde but if there are more requests for something like this I can add to the TODO list to investigate.

Bit late to the party, but just found this searching for audio book functionality and was going to ask.

I was thinking a specific "Audio book" library separate from the album one. Could point to a different folder on the drive to hold ABs. Just would be nice to play audio books while I work and be able to jump in and out without having to remember where I was! Smile
