Hi from the UK

I'm running Moode with an Iqaudio Dac+ on a Raspberry pi 4B (4GB) in a trial assembly

By and large, this is excellent.  The sound quality outstrips my previous Audient ID14 with Audirvana.

The only downside is that it would only run with the beta 64bit version.
I'm not sure is this is the cause of the occasional lock ups?

I'm planning to make this the primary sound system through the house - so will be looking at multiroom later

Greetings JohnG, you'll find a few more of us from the UK lurking around here.

I know of no reason why moOde should only run in 64bit, so I'd investigate that if I were you. There are some known issues when running in 64bit and you'd be much better off using 32bit (including getting better support here). I suggest you get a fresh image flashed to your SD and see if you can run 32bit then.

Hi Bertrum

that worked thanks!  Will be excellent if it improves the stability

so Yes now IQaudIO DAC+ 32 bit (running off an SSD)

Great to hear that. I expect what ever was stopping it working properly before will have been the reason for the instability you had as well. Should all be a lot sweeter now Smile
