One of my sources is a miniPC that boots either into Windows (if I want to use some particular graphics programs that don't work in WINE and don't really work well in a virtual machine on this PC) or Ubuntu (for everything else).
I would like to use it regardless of which OS it's using at the time.
At the moment, moOde only knows about the audio files on it via SMB when it's in Windows.
If I set up the same SMB share in Ubuntu, is it going to think that these are new files or will it go 'I can reach these via the same SMB connection, I don't care what OS is sharing them'?
Am I right in thinking that if I set up NFS in Ubuntu, it would think I had two copies of, say, Spinal Tap's Smell the Glove and only the right one would play or is it clever enough to try all the sources for the same file?
