[PROBLEM] Unable to open modal dialogs (configure, customize)

I am unable to open the modal dialogs for e.g. Configure and Customize in Firefox and Chrome.

The error that is logged in the browser console:

This happened in 4.2 and also in 4.3. I can open the dialog in Safari though.

That's a warning, not an error. It's been with us a long time and it is not the root cause of your difficulty.  

Configure and Customize dialogs are opening fine in Firefox and Chrome on my Linux Mint laptop and on my Nexus 9 Android tablet.

It was caused by the "I don't care about cookies" extension. Solved.
Not sure how to mark this thread as solved though.
