upgrade RPi 3B+ to 4B?

I've gotten a used RPi 4B in excellent condition and intend to replace my current RPi 3B+.

Can I just take out the SD card from the 3B+ and insert it in the 4B?

Or is it better to install MoOde on a fresh SD card?

Hmmm, interesting, I swapped the SD card just now but not plug and play so far. Somehow my DAC is not seen anymore, also not in alsamixer when I SSH into the RPi 4B. Quite weird....

There's no Pi-model-specific coding in moOde with regard to USB audio but since the 4 has both USB2 and USB3 ports try each type.
