[PROBLEM] transmission-daemon and USB

I installed transmission-daemon on Moode Release: 7.6.1
When the files are downloaded to the SDcard everything is OK.
When I try to downloaded files to a folder on a USB drive, I get error "permission denied".
I set the permissions for this folder with the command "sudo chmod 777"
How can I fix it?

I remember that in older versions I have had some problems with the USB mount-point (not folders on the USB drive itself, just the mount-point inside /media, which held root permissions.
Anyway, I suggest you update to the newest 8.3.7 which got released just today, so that it would be easier for us to debug the issue.
NOTE: READ CAREFULLY THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS here, as there are some additional (in respect to older versions) steps to be completed before actually flashing the image to an SD card.
