There's plenty in the Forum about Multiroom, also the Quick help gives an overview. Key thing is you need a separate RPi that isn't a player to act as a "sender" for the multiroom.

hello @the_bertrum,
i aware that the sender must be separate from client. i also read it that it must in hdmi or 3.5 jack in setting
as setting i already set it up as describe, however when i test with mpd or spotify connect it will be error.
i test several time and stuck in there.

for quick search in forum. i will try it and try to search clue about it.

thanks a lot about the reply... hope found problem solving here..

i also hope that @Tim Curtis will be included "bark" as replacement trx so moode can use sender as speaker also

Please make a separate Thread regarding the issue below to allow troubleshooting. Include the error message and moode startup log in the post.

Multiroom should just work out-of-the-box unless there is an underlying network issue or configuration that is either blocking IP Multicast or in the case of WiFi the Router does not support either Multicast to Broadcast (M2B) or Multicast to Unicast (M2U).

As far as the Bark project goes. The maintainer does not appear to be interested in our project so it would be up to some other dev who is interested in taking on the challenge of forking Bark and attempting to integrate it into moOde. https://github.com/haileys/bark/issues

the client recognize by the server. so i think it is not cause the multicast. as i believe that multicast is to recognize where the client from server.
the problem i'm facing is when multiroom server is set up. and then client also recognized by server ( trying with 1 client only), and i play a song from library. it will error and cannot play at all. when i use spotify connect as source it will also cannot play.

i trying with snapcast. i can streming the server to client (client is my android device since i lack of knowledge) but there is some delay.
so i think it cause by multiroom server that do not set source correctly. but once again i do not know from where i must to check. i really new about this

thanks for replay

next i will try it once again.
will report to you if i have wrong set it up
